•I spend a terrible precious amount of time on websites like net-a-porter and Matches, putting pretty things in my basket, removing them, putting them back in, and telling myself if I sacrifice the McQueen leopard and skull print scarf (see here) I can have the See by Chloe Nubuck Tractor boots instead (and see here)... So much so, that it's become my favourite past time.

My latest obsession lies with Wolf & Badger who showcase and retail the creme de la creme in independent brands, ranging from fine bone china to eclectic jewellery and ethically made knitwear. The Wolf & Badger website has an inspiring selection of the best pieces and designers however popping in to their Notting Hill store may prove a more satisfying experience for the visually turned on amongst us.

I've lovelisted some items below that I really hope would encourage a few of you in to looking at buying from an independent brand next time you feel a spree coming on... I'll apologise now for the increase of your own lust lists but you'll be thanking me when you realise this is the best way to get some originality about you ;)
The lovely people at W&B can be found at 46 Ledbury Rd, Notting Hill, London W11 2AB.
